Gnomes are close kin of the Dwarves and are somewhat shorter and slighter than their cousins (Gnomes are 2' shorter and 50lb heavier than a human of the same Strength).They keep their beards trimmed close (whether this is an aesthetic decision or just a desire to be different from their racial kin, is a matter of some debate).
